Bio

Whitney is most widely known for her role as Tiffany DeSalle - aka Deaf Taylor Swift - in Ryan Murphy's Scream Queens, a dark comedy-horror show on FOX. She was born deaf and is bilingual in both American Sign Language (ASL) and English. Originally from Dallas, TX, Whitney moved to Massachusetts with her family when she was 7 years old.

At the age of 12, she first began studying acting at the Wheelock Family Theater in Boston. Through high school, she continued to take acting classes and private lessons with an interpreter. In addition to her guest star role on Scream Queens, she has been cast in commercials and short films, including an award-winning short film Blue Sky; as well as several NYU, Emerson, and Indie films.

Whitney is also a talented figure skater. When very young, she began taking figure-skating

lessons as a fun activity to help with balance and coordination. Those early years spent gaining balance on the ice turned into a life-long passion for skating that helped her through many challenging years, including when she lost her dad at the age of 14. And, she is fortunate to have

a figure-skating coach and mentor who is fluent in ASL.

She's a long time member of the United States Figure Skating Assoc. and is a USFS figure skating instructor for children in the Boston metro area. All through high school she volunteered with group classes and discovered a love of working with children.
